Canon Pixma MG5460 Driver Download - We’ve become wont to Canon’s printers topping the tables in our printer cluster tests over the years, and in 2013 it’s the flip of the cheap Canon Pixma MG5460 to stay standards up.
It makes an honest begin, with a wise chassis and many of property options: you'll be able to attach to the MG5460 via 802.11n wireless or USB 2; there’s a card reader that supports Coyote State, MS and MMC formats; and, similar to HP’s models, the Pixma MG5460 permits printing from a variety of devices. Google Cloud Print and Apple AirPrint ar supported, and Canon’s Easy-PhotoPrint app prints files from automaton and iOS devices across a Wi-Fi network.
There’s no ADF, however the MG5460 will print on CD and DVDs, and there’s automatic duplex printing, too. The 7.5cm color show isn’t a touchscreen, however the menus ar straightforward to navigate with the controls on the connective tissue of the printer.
The Pixma MG5460 is that the solely printer here to use a five-ink print engine: the quality CMYK tanks ar supplemented with a Pigment Black tank for printing text. we have a tendency to had some outlandish ends up in our speed tests, with draft-quality prints showing additional slowly than normal ones, however it isn’t value worrying regarding. Even normal quality, mono A4 prints jet out at fourteen.3ppm, and text is daring and crisp enough that it may virtually pass for the output of a electrostatic printer.
Colour A4 prints slow the Pixma’s output to a diminished five.2ppm, however quality remains glorious. Up the ante with exposure prints, and also the Pixma is in its element: A4 prints seem during a speedy 2mins thirty one secs, and also the combination of daring, wealthy colors and wads of grain-free detail set the Canon apart.
Scans and copies ar even as smart. Our half-dozen x 4in exposure took thirty eight seconds to scan at 600dpi, and also the results were unerringly devoted.
The one weakness is that the MG5460 isn’t the most affordable to run. Its A4 prints price 6c per mono page and eleven.2c per color page, whereas half-dozen x 4in prints ar 33c. Given the standard, however, this doesn’t appear unreasonable.
